Commonwealth Community Trust (CCT) established the Charitable Fund Award to provide funds for equipment and/or services to individuals with disabilities who demonstrate a financial need. The maximum amount of the award per individual is $1,000.

The Ian Burkhart Foundation will help individuals seek out widely accessible funding sources and provide grants for items not usually covered by insurance however they will greatly increase independence and quality of life. Grants will be given after being determined necessary by the board.

SMILE Community Action Agency serves as a clearinghouse for community needs, with a focus on health, education, economic stability, and the betterment of all disadvantaged individuals, children and families that we encounter.
SMILE serves residents of St. Martin, Iberia, and Lafayette Parish.
Charitable grants are reviewed quarterly in January, March, June, and September. Funds are limited and we generally can not support charitable grants over $7,500. Request should be for a specific item. Requests from Wisconsin residents are given priority but are not limited to the state.
