Ainsleys Angels of America is a non-profit organization that matches runners with people with disabilities who want to compete in races.

Calcasieu Public Transit has nine buses, which are all equipped with liftgates for easy wheelchair accessibility.

Transit services are available in Rural and Urban areas of Calcasieu Parish.

Services are offered to those who are elderly, disabled, and the general public.

There is a service fee for each ride. Transit office hours are 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Buses run 5 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday.

The focus of our program is for our patients to regain function and return to their normal activities. Patients accepted into the acute rehabilitation program must meet specific admission criteria including loss of function related to a disease or condition and must be referred by a physician.

Conditions treated: Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, and more.
